Who: Time to bang some heads, friends. American Icon Records and Austin Independent Rock present the A.I.R. Expo.
What: Two days of some of the hardest-rockin’ bands from Austin and beyond gather to blow out the speakers out at the Mohawk. Talk about the rockets’ red glare igniting your 4th of July.
When: Today and tomorrow, with doors opening early at 5 p.m.
Where: The Mohawk, 912 Red River, on the outside stage.
Why: So much talent here, you won’t be able to keep up. Pentagram (yes, that Pentagram), The Well (featured on today’s segment), Warmaster, Ditch Witch and Brothers Collateral play today; The Sword, Sweat Lodge, Eagle Claw, P.R.O.B.L.E.M.S. and Burnt Skull take over the stage tomorrow. Don’t leave the earplugs at home, kids. So recommended it hurts.
