Caroline Rose‘s The Art of Forgetting is the art of letting go.
Rose, who wrote and produced the album, described the inspiration behind it as the perfect storm of events that led to an emotional reckoning. At the time, many touchstones once in their life were disappearing. It felt like a tumultuous, beautiful release, perhaps bittersweet but ultimately empowering. Letting go meant leaving so many memories behind…where they belonged.
