Harry Edohoukwa‘s impassioned debut Fire on the Mountain is, without hesitation, the fire within. Edohoukwa’s powerful voice manifests the turmoil ravaging his soul. From the very first breath on opening track “No Rule” (featured on today’s AMM) Edohoukwa agonizes over what piece he’s missing in the puzzle – or why there’s even a puzzle in the first place. “Did I do something wrong / did I not pray is that what’s going on / am I not speaking life in every song?”
New music is on the way from Edohoukwa, but you can see him as the next featured artist at Lambert’s Saturday Artist series tomorrow night, Sat.
