Had quite a bit of fun with today’s Austin Music Minute. So much mystery surrounding the Do512 CONFIDENTIAL: Top Secret Monday night series planned for Holy Mountain‘s final month of shows, including tonight’s performance. Yes, Think No Think (featured on today’s AMM) is one of the bands rocking the bill, but just who is the mystery guest?? Think No Think rocks pretty hard, so it would have to be another band that rocks equally as hard, if not more.
Inductive reasoning proved to be a big help, and that leads to the big reveal that’s right on target: Black Joe Lewis & The Honeybears is the special guest, making this one big show, indeed! Black Joe Lewis and Think No Think perform tonight at Holy Mountain, 617 E. 7th St. The music kicks off at 10 p.m.
The next Do 512 CONFIDENTIAL shows are Sept. 14th with Eagle Claw, and Sept. 21st with…well…we can’t say for sure. Looks like that one is entirely confidential. Stay tuned for details. Very recommended.
