Last April, local folk-rock trio The Wheelwrights launched A Forest In the Trees, a project pairing a monthly release of a new single by the band with a new original art piece. All the new music will be on their forthcoming full-length debut, set for release sometime this year.
Check out the new tunes when you see The Wheelwrights perform tonight at the Cactus Cafe, at 24th and Guadalupe in the Texas Union. Doors open at 8 p.m., and the music starts at 8:30 p.m. with special guests Tahoma. A lovely bill with beautiful music. Recommended.
