Stand up and be heard, sirens. And regard this impressive list of artists who are doing just that.
It’s the second year that the Siren Sound Temple music festival has assembled an awesome collection of artists for its celebration of women in music. The talent in Austin alone is mind-blowing, and quite frankly, celebrating the multi-talented musicians, songwriters and vocalists who happen to be women is something to be celebrated all year long.
Siren Sound Temple happens tonight at Barracuda, 611 E. 7th St., featuring two stages of fantastic bands:
Outside – Magna Carda (featured on today’s AMM), Moving Panoramas, Tinnarose, Mama K and The Shades, JEFF, and Trouble In the Streets.
Inside – A Giant Dog, Purple, Löwin, AMA, Sailor Poon, and MADD Comrades.
Doors open at 7:30 p.m. Celebrate. Recommended.
