Here’s a little somethin’-somethin’ for all the night flyers who crave high-volume punk-ified vibes to get the blood pumping: The Austin Music Minute invites you to give a listen to Hot Ears, the latest release from Austin-based fiends Vampyre. These badass dark degenerates are about to take their new tunes on the road for a Midwest tour, alongside fellow hoodlum JT Kelley. Just imagining them traveling together…good grief, definitely no behaving to be had. Does the AMM host proud.
Vampyre’s tour kickoff show unleashes the fury tonight at Beerland, 711 1/2 Red River, where they share the bill with tour partner JT and bands/fellow annihilators Riot Punch, Exhalants, and Left Limbs. As promised by the AMM today: Bones will rattle, eardrums will explode, unbridled chaos is the order of the night, and no unsuspecting spectator will be left unmoved (a.k.a., an Austin Music Minute night out). Doors open at 8 p.m.
