Now this is the way to celebrate Bastille Day. What could be more appropriate than Storm the Bastille? Justine’s Brasserie‘s annual celebration puts major devilry into the revelry with loads of music, dancing, and absolutely no behaving.
This year’s festivities are pouring on the punk rock hard and heavy with a phenomenal line-up, featuring iconic punk band Metal Urbain (most certainly, your humble Austin Music Minute hostess completely butchered their name on today’s AMM, so…many heartfelt apologies for that), thrash-and-crash ranchero punks Piñata Protest from San Antonio, and a very special spoken word set by former Dead Kennedys front man Jello Biafra, who will also be the DJ for the night.
Complete madness. Utter insanity. You know you want it. You’ll find Justine’s at 4710 E. 5th St. The party starts at 8:30 p.m. Very recommended.
