Where the Wild Bands Are

Let it be known, friends, that the day after Thanksgiving, you’d better be prepared for massive screaming, shouting, jumping and crashing about at top volume. No, I’m not talking about the department store check-out lines during Black Friday. The Austin Music Minute proudly presents news about a massive show going down at the Scoot Inn – and it ain’t for the faint of heart. But for those of you who can handle the crazy good times: Come on down!

Not one, not two, but three awesome bands are inviting you for the ultimate knock-down, drag-out, rambunctious ho-down tomorrow night: Fresh from their European tour, the hardest of the hardcore folk with East Cameron Folkcore; hot jazz, ragtime, vaudeville and swing with the White Ghost Shivers; and bluegrass gone punk rock with Clyde & Clem’s Whiskey Business. Sounds like plenty o’ whiskey-soaked business all around.

Make your way to the Scoot Inn, 1308 E. 4th St. at Navasota, this Friday night. Get there after 9 p.m. This one is so recommended.
