Texas never left Will Courtney‘s heart. It just made sense to return to the place that inspired him. After the songwriter spent considerable time in Los Angeles and Nashville, he settled into a cabin in Dripping Springs and wrote the songs for Planning Escapes, a moving and emotional reflection of his journeys.
Will Courtney shares the bill with local band Altamesa on their remaining October residency show tonight at the Hole In the Wall, 2538 Guadalupe. Courtney performs at 9:30 p.m., followed by Altamesa at 10:45 p.m. Recommended.
