Luckily for you, coming your way is a sneering pentecostal lupine power, a show of shows fired up with brimstone, blues-rock, and high-octane badassery. This is not one for those with weaker constitutions or the faint of eardrum. It’s a double dose volume, venom, hotness and hellfire. And don’t assume you can take this one sitting down, friend. As your Austin Music Minute maven most assuredly proclaims: You will be moved.
This show feels like it was a dream made in AMM heaven, featuring Southern-gothic/psycho-blues/revival punk one-man-band Lincoln Durham, and foot-stompin’, demon-possessed blues/garage/punk duo The Ghost Wolves. See them both tear the walls down and rattle the floorboards tomorrow night at Red 7, 611 E. 7th St. Doors open at 9 p.m. You’ll want to see both performances, if you know what’s good fer ya. Don’t leave the earplugs at home. So recommended it hurts.
