Josh Karpeh grew up in Cleveland, playing flute and saxophone. But a couple of years ago, he stumbled across a cutting-edge, electronic/R&B hybrid scene blossoming on Soundcloud, and he started making his own productions. Karpeh tried out singing on top, and all of a sudden, he found something unique. As Cautious Clay, he’s only released a handful of songs, but they’re big, bold, and atmospheric.
This week on My KUTX, Cautious Clay plays an hour of hand-picked favorites, featuring classic funk, inspiring productions from friends, and even an Eagles track. Hear My KUTX on Saturday, March 16, 6 to 7 p.m or anytime at the bottom of the page.
