Dan Dyer is a veteran Austin singer-songwriter who gets a lot of influence from fellow singer-songwriters like Townes Van Zandt or Kris Kristofferson. But he’s also a hell of a singer, and his guest DJ set is structured around some of his favorites, be they soul, R&B, country, or even Pakistani devotional singers. You can catch Dan twice this coming week: he’s got a solo show at Geraldine’s at Hotel Van Zandt on Wednesday, January 13 at 9 p.m., and he’s playing with a full band at Lambert’s on Friday, January 15 at 9:30 p.m. He also has a new album coming out in March called Feast Of Light, and he premieres the title track in his guest DJ episode. Tune in this Saturday at 6 p.m., or listen anytime in the player below.
