My KUTX: JD McPherson

JD McPherson plays old school, revved-up rock and roll, the kind of stuff that would’ve been blaring out of a Cadillac circa 1959. But the Oklahoma native is a much more voracious listener than his streamlined music would suggest. This week on My KUTX, McPherson plays guest DJ, shouting out his love for morose Smiths songs and hardcore punk, while also letting us know the joys of eating breakfast while listening to Kraftwerk. Hear My KUTX on Saturday, December 29 at 6 p.m., or listen anytime at the bottom of the page.
