If there’s one thing Jimmie Dale Gilmore has – it’s stories. Influenced by Hank Williams, Johnny Cash and Willie Nelson, Jimmie Dale Gilmore sings tender songs about family, love and anything country. He lives in Austin and regularly takes the stage with his son, Colin Gilmore as well as his band The Flatlanders. Gilmore is one of the Lubbock legends that makes us wonder what’s in the water out west.
Stay tuned for Jimmie Dale Gilmore on My KUTX Saturday, June 7th at 6p.m. as he talks about his most influential songs.
