There are many sides to Austin’s Jonathan Terrell. There’s the starry-eyed country crooner, found on this year’s EP A Couple 2, 3. There’s his past life as a sweaty rock and roll showman for Not In The Face. And there’s his DJ sets around town, which tend to focus on his love for disco and obscure funk.
Terrell brings all of these sides to My KUTX this week for his third rodeo as our guest DJ. His mix covers a lot of ground: Neil Young’s electronica experiments, favorite local songwriters, deep soul discoveries, and dancefloor bangers.
