***My KUTX is made possible with support from imogene + willie***
Between his work in Growl and Sun June, longtime listeners of KUTX are likely to recognize the soothing vocals of Santiago Dietche. But over the past decade of playing around town with a ton of different bands, Dietche’s doubled down on one project in particular – daphne tunes. As Santi celebrates the second birthday of his daughter, he also commemorates another new point of pride: daphne tunes’ latest full-length volume d that just dropped yesterday. To make the most of that moment, Santi stopped by KUTX to share the sounds that not only helped shape volume d, but also some sentimental dedications and tracks that delayed volume d in the best way possible.
