My KUTX: Secretly Group’s SXSW 2018 Picks

Secretly Group is a family of independent record labels–Secretly Canadian, Dead Oceans, and Jagjaguwar–based out of Bloomington, Indiana with an office here in Austin. They’re home to some of our favorite bands: Angel Olsen, Bon Iver, and Unknown Mortal Orchestra, just to name a few. And Secretly Group spotlights some of its newest artists with a SXSW showcase on March 15 at the Barracuda. The event also raises funds for Front Steps, an Austin organization that helps the homeless community.

This week on My KUTX, Secretly Group’s Phil Waldorf previews the showcase as our guest DJ, while also mixing in a few favorite discoveries from past SXSW fests. Hear My KUTX on Saturday, March 10, 6 to 7 p.m. or anytime at the bottom of the page.
