After nearly a decade and half, UTOPiA Fest is retiring, but not before one last bash. The annual camping-and-music festival returns to Reveille Peak Ranch, a destination mountain biking and camping area an hour northwest of Austin in Burnet, on May 4-6.
This week on My KUTX, festival organizers Travis Sutherland and Wayne Dalchau return as our guest DJs. They celebrate UTOPiA’s many highlights–including Charles Bradley’s tears-and-rain soaked performance and Ben Kweller’s rock and roll blowouts–with songs recorded live at the fest over the years. Plus, they preview this year’s eclectic lineup of folk, indie rock, funk, and more. Hear My KUTX on Saturday, April 8 at 6 p.m. or listen anytime at the top of the page.
