There is no other light that shines as brightly as that of an empathetic, compassionate and loving soul. You feel it in artist and songwriter Lauren Bruno, and in the music she creates for her project Les Rav.
A classically trained musician, Bruno boldly reaches out toward human emotion in her work, and is passionate about connecting people to help one another. She’s a generous individual who, despite very serious life challenges affecting her health, remains optimistic and unabashedly appreciative of everything life has to offer.
KUTX’s Laurie Gallardo recently interviewed Bruno about a new documentary called Rebirth, produced and directed by Mario Troncoso for Arts In Context, that explores Bruno’s art and her powerful positivity.
Rebirth makes its official premiere this Thursday night at 7:30 p.m. on KLRU.
