Where We Belong

Following the closing of Red 7, yet another beloved E. 7th St. venue will soon be shut down. Holy Mountain is presenting its final month of shows before patrons and bands alike bid a fond farewell to the intimate space, where many a fantastic show has drawn some mighty big crowds since its inception in October 2012.

One of those bands, Quiet Company, is sending Holy Mountain off with a bang: They’re playing not just one, but two shows this Friday and Saturday. On Friday’s bill, with A. Sinclair, QC will perform all the songs from their 2011 album We Are All Where We Belong. Saturday, the band will play Transgressor (2015) in its entirety, with Otis the Destroyer and Suburban Slang in the line-up.

KUTX‘s Laurie Gallardo recently had a chat with QC’s Tommy Blank about these shows, Holy Mountain, and Holy Mountain’s manager, James Taylor.
