In 2006 a small music festival began in Austin’s Waterloo Park. It was aimed at the city’s alternative music scene and headlined by Austin’s own psych rockers, The Black Angels. Nine years later, Fun Fun Fun Fest has grown to become one of the premiere independent music festivals in the country, attracting international acts and attention. At a special event Monday night, the festival’s producers, Transmission Events, revealed this year’s lineup. And you may want to remember to bring your earplugs.
