KUTX at Home: Chicano Batman 6.12.20

On their fourth album Invisible People (out now on ATO Records) Chicano Batman leaned into the hip-hop influences of their youth. For this KUTX at Home, host Jay Trachtenberg goes in depth with guitarist Carlos Arévalo about those drum beats and how engineer Shawn Everett (Alabama Shakes, Kacey Musgraves, War on Drugs) and producer Leon Michaels – who’s worked with WuTang Clan, Sharon Jones, and The Arcs to name a few – shaped the textures and sounds of this latest record.

The live premier will be Friday, June 12 at 1p (central).
