Miss Universe will celebrate the three-decade milestone of their 1995 Rise Records LP, Duh!, by performing the album front-to-back for the first time in years. The evening will also feature the reformation of fellow local punk rock veterans, Gomez. Kicking off the night’s festivities will be KUTX’s DJ Marc Fort, who will be spinning all 90s Austin bands. The reunion is a dual-benefit event, with all door proceeds being donated to the Red River Cultural District (RRCD), a cultural tourism destination and entertainment district located in downtown Austin. In addition, all proceeds from a limited-run screen printed poster will benefit local poster artist Jason Austin, who has been battling Multiple Sclerosis since the 1990s.
