Austin’s Parker Woodland creates cathartic indie rock anthems for all ages (and the teenager in all of us). Families may remember the trio, led by justice activist and longtime Girls Rock Austin community member Erin Walter, from the SXSW “Spare the Rock” show in 2022 and KUTX Rock the Park in 2023. Parker Woodland’s first full-length album, following up on beloved EP “The World’s On Fire (and We Still Fall in Love),” is due out in 2024.
