KUTX is excited to be a sponsor of the X Games Austin happening June 5 – 8, 2014 at Circuit of the Americas. This is the first X Games in Texas and we can’t wait to show them what we’re all about. We’ll be presenting a local music stage Friday – Sunday with some of our favorite Austin bands. Come support the local bands and experience the first ever X Games in Austin.

Houston natives Featherface brings a new vibe to psychedelic pop/rock music with energetic performances and a varied sound. Gaining a reputation for their energy, this band is sure to put on an unforgettable performance. This four-piece band will be performing on the KUTX Stage at X Games 2014 Friday, June 6th at 1:15 p.m.
Leopold and His Fiction Friday, June 6th at 4:15 p.m.
Austin based band Leopold and His Fiction brings a new twist on country folk rock. Front man Daniel James and his band have an undeniable energy that will get you moving on your feet. A little bit of folk and a little bit of psych is the sound that Leopold and His Fiction put out. They will be performing at X Games 2014 on the KUTX Stage Friday, June 6th at 4:15 p.m.
Black Pistol Fire Friday, June 6th at 7:15 p.m.
Two man band Black Pistol Fire splits time between Toronto and Austin while keeping up an energetic sound. Their sound mixes southern rock with garage punk. While their sound brings in different sub-genres, the band keeps it updated for modern time. The duo will be performing at X Games 2014 on the KUTX Stage Friday, June 6th at 7:15 p.m.
