KUTX is excited to be a sponsor of the X Games Austin happening June 5 – 8, 2014 at Circuit of the Americas. This is the first X Games in Texas and we can’t wait to show them what we’re all about. We’ll be presenting a local music stage Friday – Sunday with some of our favorite Austin bands. Come out and support local bands and experience the first ever X Games in Austin.

Magna Carda Saturday, June 7th at 1:15 p.m.
Austin natives Magna Carda sets the tone with their hip-hop/rap influences mixed with jazz, blues and rock elements. Inspiration from funk, rap and jazz, this group spits out original beats and mixes in their music. This five-man band will have its crowd on their feet while moving to the beat. They will be performing at X Games on the KUTX Stage Saturday, June 7th at 1:15 p.m.
English Teeth Saturday, June 7th at 3:15 p.m.
English Teeth puts out the rock ‘n’ roll that gets the room moving. They call their genre Texas Indie Britrock but none of the band members are English. That doesn’t mean they won’t rock the stage. Come check them out at X Games 2014 on the KUTX Stage Saturday, June 7th at 3:15 p.m.
The Black and White Years Saturday, June 7th at 5:15 p.m.
Indie rock band The Black and White Years paints a picture with their music. Also known for being art rock, The Black and White Years have had a long music career since 2006 that almost ended. Seven years later, the band performs and rocks the stage better than before. They will be performing at X Games 2014 on the KUTX Stage Saturday, June 7th at 5:15 p.m.
Not In The Face Saturday, June 7th at 7:15 p.m.
Started as a joke, Austin natives Not In The Face became a hit. Started by covering bands from different genres, the rock ‘n’ roll band’s energetic vibe will soon hit the KUTX Stage at X Games 2014. Having some original songs now, the band will be performing on Saturday, June 7th at 7:15 p.m.
