KUTX just wrapped up our Spring Membership Drive, and we’re glowing with gratitude.
If you showed your support this drive, or if you’ve been supporting KUTX as a Sustaining Member for some time now: THANK YOU. You allow KUTX to be more than a local radio station that plays good music – you allow us to be a mission-driven, worldwide platform for Austin music.
These Membership Drives are so important to KUTX. We’re a non-profit, non-commercial radio station, and 87% of our revenue comes from the community: individuals who become Members via their financial gifts, and local businesses that show their support by joining the KUTX Business Circle or by underwriting the station.
If you’re a new member, you’ve joined a great community: more than 25,000 listeners support KUTX with their membership (and 18,000 of those give ongoing as Sustaining Members.) These members have made the first 5 years of KUTX possible, and they’ll help us continue to thrive and expand our service to Austin and its musicians for the next five years and beyond. Your support will also help our sister-station KUT 90.5 continue to keep Austinites informed, as well as keep the lights on at out historic music venue, the Cactus Cafe.
