This is something that hasn’t ever really been real to us until now. Adulthood is nearing and starting to sink in, and all of these songs explore that.

5. The Postal Service – “Such Great Heights”

6. Family of the Year – “Hero”

Miranda Ward: I chose these songs because they reflect my taste in music and the people mentioned in my playlist have influenced me. My favorite part of being a DJ was being in the studio and getting to record the playlist because I got to experience what real radio people get to experience as a part of their job.

Miranda’s playlist:

1. Brandi Carlile – “The Stranger at My Door”

2. The Shins – “Young Pilgrims”

3. The Beatles – “Let it Be”

4. Misterwives – “Reflections”

Guinevere Thomas: I chose these songs because they evoke strong memories from my childhood. They are all songs that I heard with my dad, and they bring a sense of nostalgia whenever I hear them. My favorite part of being a DJ was collecting all of these songs and reminiscing about the fun I had with my family.
