My KUTX: Music Writer Jessica Hopper

Jessica Hopper is an author, editor, and critic whose work has appeared in Pitchfork, Spin, Rookie, GQ, Rolling Stone, and more (her 2015 piece on Björk is one of my favorite pieces of music writing). Her third book, Night Moves (out now via UT Press), is a memoir of being young in Chicago and finding her musical and critical voice. This week on My KUTX, we’re turning the keys over to Hopper for an hour of songs and artists that inspired Night Moves. Hear the episode on Saturday, November 3 or anytime at the bottom of the page.
