Lead vocalist Brian Herd of the New York trio Daddy Long Legs explained to KUTX host Laurie Gallardo, “Rock and roll can never die. The blues is always there…it’s always going to be there boiling under the surface until one day it just bubbles up and explodes”. And on their latest album Lowdown Ways, Daddy Long Legs proves blues and rock and roll are far from dead. From urban roadhouses and swank clubs around the world, the energetic trio has wowed audiences with their “dirty blues” style, and are now bringing their raucous guitar riffs, stompin’ beats, and a cinematic delivery to KUTX’s Studio 1A.
