Austin singer-songwriter Garrett Lebeau plays music that would probably be best defined as blues. But according to Lebeau, his music isn’t so easy to categorize. “I like music that moves you, feeling has no genre,” quotes his ReverbNation profile. And it’s true, while the sound is blues, it’s also strictly Garrett Lebeau. He pours himself into every note and every lyric, so much so that it makes it difficult to see where the man ends and the music begins. His debut album, Rise to the Grind, will be released tomorrow, and it’s sure to be filled to the brim with his Lebeau-brand blues.
