It’s getting cold out. And that calls for a little gumbo. Coming from all walks of life, Gumbo Ce Soir is no stranger to the Austin music scene. Pet Weiss, Bob Hardister, Darren Sluyter, Heather Rae Johnson, Cary Ozaniaa and Matt Besinay all have roots in music from the gulf coast to Oregon, and we are lucky enough to witness their styles colliding right here in Austin. This energetic group of cajun music makers came in on a blistery day to warm up Studio 1A with some soulful sounds and a dance party. The group will be a the White House Friday at 8 p.m. for a live album recording (complete with actual gumbo.) But before you head out there check out their live performance in studio 1A right here!
