John Inmon and Caroline Aiken @ KUT 11/7/12

John Inmon is a Texas guitarist cut from the same clothe as Stevie Ray Vaughan. Inmon’s peers know him as one of the finest guitarists in Austin, Texas (and, considering the competition, that is high praise indeed); his fans know him as the signature guitar style that has, at one time or another, propelled the music of dozens of Texas artists, including Townes van Zandt, Ray Wylie Hubbard and Eliza Gilkyson.

Independent to the bone with seven CDs, and with a Grammy nomination for Best Contemporary Folk CD in 2006, Caroline Aiken has performed numerous times to benefit thousands of causes, and has played thousands of shows in her 40-plus years of touring at home and abroad. Writing, producing shows, festivals, theaters, and series, Caroline has also served 12 years as Entertainment Director for the Atlanta Dogwood Festival.

John Inmon and Caroline Aiken will be playing a show at the Cactus Cafe on Wednesday night.
