Local musician Max Frost was back in Studio 1A for another helping of his danceable yet calming grooves.
Austin’s very own multi-instrumentalist, producer, singer, songwriter, and frequent KUTX guest Max Frost came to music at an early age, performing around town as a young teenager. Frost’s evolving solo work combines his influences of R&B, funk, hip-hop, blues, electronica, and rock into textured pop songs, seemingly simple and simmering with swagger. His debut solo EP Low High Low, which greatly expanded his audience, was a versatile and catchy affair, full of captivating grooves made of intricate pieces and navigated by his cool vocal delivery. Frost is set to release a new EP in September and has been working on his debut full-length.
Max Frost will be playing at the Live Vibe Collective House Concert on June 6th and you can stream his live set right here on KUTX.
