Name dropping is easy enough when it comes to MilkDrive, but it’s not as if the band needs to. Their expertise in this bluegrass-jazz cocktail stands up with guests featured on their forthcoming album, WAVES, including Noam Pikelny (of Punch Brothers) and Futureman (of Bela Fleck and the Fleckstones). This gypsy-jazz combo steals from a few different genres, but puts back a lot more than it took out. Milkdrive celebrated their new release Saturday September 20 at KUTX!.
