It’s difficult to make meaningful pop music these days, but Scenery manages to make it look easy. Scenery’s music is catchy and playful, with just the right amount of synths. The band hails from Austin, and you can hear some of the southern influences in their guitar riffs, but the rest of the instrumentation has sounds that will please listeners from around the world. The songs are upbeat enough to make you feel like you just drank a cup of coffee, but one that will make you productive and one that isn’t just empty calories and sweetener. Scenery’s debut LP “Two Stares” comes out on January 6th, 2017, but they are celebrating it at Cheer Up Charlie’s this Saturday! Listen to their Studio 1A session below!
