Los Angeles’ Warbly Jets stay true to the spirit of good ol’ fashioned rock and roll. Warbly Jets’ single “Alive” has the perfect title because that is exactly how it makes you feel. Imagine driving through California with your best friends in an old school convertible and you can get a sense of what this song feels like. The music takes you back to a simpler time when bands weren’t worried about conveying a profound message or trying to incorporate other genres to be considered critical darlings. Warbly Jets played a show at The Sidewinder with The Mystery Lights and will be back in Austin for SXSW 2017. Check out their stripped down performance in Studio 1A below.
