You might think 9 a.m. is too early to dance, and you might think again when Austin band Bright Light Social Hour takes the stage. Part straight up rock n’ roll, part psychedelic-rock, retro-soul, and electro-dance music, the southern rock foursome will at the very least get your feet tapping and your head bobbing. Bandmates Curtis Roush (guitar, vocals), Jack O’Brien (bass, guitar, vocals) and Joseph Mirasole (percussion) rocked our world at The Four Seasons during SXSW 2014–check out their inventive mix of styles on today’s song of the day, “Back & Forth.”
