Riders Against the Storm are – to some degree – local legends. Since moving to Austin a few years back, the hip hop duo comprised of vocalists Chaka & Qi Dada have repeatedly swept the Austin Music Awards, have participated or hosted a variety of community-centric concerts, and oh yeah – they’ve got their own holiday here in town. Any opportunity to see Riders Against the Storm or RAS live should be taken – they typically perform alongside a live band or in the midst of their Bodyrock ATX extended DJ sets. Tomorrow morning you can get a head start on your Halloween haunt with an AM performance of Riders Against the Storm at Empire Control Room – part of Daybreaker ATX/Ghoulish Getdown.
