This Thursday, Cheer Up Charlie’s turns its stages over to Keep Music Weird. This is a local music advocacy organization that books and records shows “with the shared goal of exposure for not only our local music makers, but for our hometown venues as well.” Headlining the local bill are the Continuums, whose high-octane rock and roll bursts out of its new Erik Wofford-assisted LP Hodgepodge. “Mad Dog” is the first out of the gate, a slice of garage-punk with the express purpose of keeping music loud.
“Mad Dog” appears on Hodgepodge, out February 5. The Continuums play Cheer Up Charlie’s on Thursday, Feb 2.
