Phoenix/LA garage-psych rockers The Darts released their debut self-titled EP last October and following a US-European tour, followed up with their sophomore EP at the beginning of this year. The all-women quartet features veterans of The Love Me Nots, Motobunny, Casual Encounters, Brainspoon and more – now they’re getting set for their biggest release yet. Their first-ever full-length, Me.Ow comes out the end of the week and they’re kicking off the supporting tour right here in Austin, Friday night at Spiderhouse Ballroom along with Escobar, Ugly Beats, Bad Lovers and Count Vaseline.
Listeners can look forward to eleven original songs and a bonus live track that collectively nurture The Darts’ fuzzy dark psych-based sound – including one of two already-released singles “Gonna Make You Love”.
