Tinnarose’s My KUTX playlist triangulates the Austin band’s particular influences, sitting somewhere between Steely Dan, Richard and Linda Thompson, and Teenage Fanclub. The Artist of the Month alumni doubles-down on this sound with its second album, My Pleasure Has Returned. This time around, Tinnarose teamed up with the production duo Fat Fuse (Christopher Cox and Grant Johnson), who have also collaborated with Dana Falconberry and Abram Shook. “It’s All Around” is a wormhole into the band’s ’70s vibe, easygoing and spacious but with a stinging guitar solo to cut the sweetness.
