Tom Petty Laid to Tranquil Rest at Yoga Retreat
Tom Petty was peacefully and privately laid to rest yesterday at the Pacific Palisades, California’s Self-Realization Fellowship Lake Shrine. A well-known yoga retreat, the site is also where Beatle and fellow Traveling Wilburys member George Harrison was laid to rest in 2001. Petty died of cardiac arrest on October 2nd.

Record Store Day has announced its exclusive titles list for RSD Black Friday 2017.Like a micro Record Store Day, the Black Friday edition offers a small, but delicious number of exclusive selections. Included on this year’s list are the first-ever North American vinyl pressing of Neil Young’s Harvest Moon; Tori Amos’s 80s hair metal band Y Kant Tori Read’s long out-of-print 1998 album; A Don Williams tribute featuring Allison Krauss, Chris Stapleton, a duet from Jason Isbell & Amanda Shires, among others; a Fleet Foxes EP recorded at Electric Lady studios; and Lou Reed & Kris Kristofferson’s Live at the Bottom Line 1994. Black Friday is November 24th.
