Kenny Rogers to Receive Lifetime Achievement Award for Photography

2017 continues to be a big one for Kenny Rogers. Less than a month after announcing his retirement from music, the International Photography Hall of Fame and Museum announced their first ever lifetime achievement award, and its inaugural recipient is the Gambler himself.

Rogers has authored several books on photography, most recently 2014’s Places I’ve Been, Things I’ve Seen, and in 2013 he received n honorary master’s degree in photography from Professional Photographers in America (fun fact: that’s the same year he was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame). Rogers will receive the award alongside this year’s 10 photography hall of fame inductees on November 17th in St. Louis.
