The “cool” jazz-inspired, tinkling piano of Vince Guaraldi ranks among the most popular Christmas music of all time. Anyone who has spent their holiday in the U.S. within the past four decades has heard these tunes, if not seen the synonymous Christmas special on TV.
Now thanks to the leadership of pianist Dr. Michelle Schumann (Artistic Director of Austin Chamber Music Center), you have the chance to hear a live rendition of this national holiday classic! Dr. Schumann was joined by Utah Hamrick on bass and David Sierra on drums when the trio performed your favorite Charlie Brown Christmas songs right here in our Studio 1A this past week!
