You may know Andrew Cashen from Austin bands Sweet Spirit and A Giant Dog but KUTX’s Taylor Wallace got the chance to sit down with Cashen on his own and talk about his solo projects. Cashen just recorded a second solo album to be released on new label Rebel Rouser Records to be later this year called Cosmic Silence. Prior to that, his debut solo album, Back In Texas, was released in April. A veteran of the Austin music scene and a self- proclaimed Texas native, Cashen will soon be moving to Brooklyn seeking adventure. Though we will be sad to see him go we will be able to listen to his Studio 1A session anytime.
