Andrew W.K. is the ambassador of partying, no matter what the State Department says. Back in 2012, it was believed Andrew Wilkes-Krier would be the next U.S. Cultural Ambassador to Bahrain. Even though it was later revealed he would just be speaking at the Embassy (and the invitation was rescinded), the nickname stuck. Apparently, so did the public speaking–a couple of years later he embarked on a motivational speaking tour titled The Power of Partying, spreading the gospel from city to city. Andrew W.K. is truly a media personality, appearing everywhere from Fox News to Cartoon Network with his signature white outfit and intense enthusiasm. W.K.’s latest project sees him returning to his first love, music, for a tour titled The Party Never Dies. Touring with his full band and playing such hits as “Party Hard,” Andrew W.K. is hyping up to release his first album since 2009.
