Atash’s award-winning world music continually stuns the Central Texas area.
From Cuban guitar solos to jazzy drum beats, this eight-piece group combines instruments and musical styles from every corner of the world. Mohammad Firoozi’s dark, resonant vocals ring through his poetic Farsi lyrics. With José Manuel Tejeda’s flamenco guitar, John Moon’s soaring violin solos, and Aboubacar Sylla’s West African musical influences, Atash blends a unique concoction of diverse flavor.
Atash will continue a nine-week residency at The Flamingo Cantina every Tuesday night at 10 pm until the end of October.
