The Austin Lounge Lizards have been a staple in the city’s music scene since the band was founded in 1980. The band prides itself on its literate lyrics and pointed (and occasionally political) sense of humor, which coupled with their musicianship, has given them a brand that’s tough to forget. Since the band came together, the lineup has shifted and changed a bit, but they’re without a doubt the same wacky and witty band that Austin knows and loves.
